Joint Pain
Joint pain can significantly affect your mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. Whether caused by injury, inflammation, overuse, or age-related degeneration, untreated joint conditions can worsen over time. At ProCare Medical Group, we provide comprehensive evaluation and personalized treatment plans designed to relieve pain, restore movement, and improve long-term joint health.
We treat joint conditions affecting the knees, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, ankles, and feet.
Knee Pain
Knee pain is one of the most common joint complaints and may result from cartilage damage, ligament injuries, or degenerative changes. Symptoms often include swelling, stiffness, instability, or difficulty walking.
Knee-related conditions we treat include:
Knee Arthritis – Gradual wear and tear of cartilage leading to stiffness, inflammation, and chronic pain. Treatment focuses on reducing inflammation and preserving joint function.
Meniscus Tear – Damage to the knee’s cushioning cartilage, often causing locking, clicking, or swelling. Early management helps prevent further joint deterioration.
Ligament Tear – Injury to stabilizing ligaments that may cause weakness or instability. Structured treatment supports recovery and restores joint strength.
Shoulder Pain
Shoulder pain can limit arm movement and daily function. It may develop from overuse, injury, or inflammation of surrounding tissues.
Shoulder conditions include:
Tendonitis – Inflammation of shoulder tendons causing pain during movement.
Rotator Cuff Injury – Damage to stabilizing tendons leading to weakness and limited motion.
Labrum Tear – Tear in the cartilage ring of the shoulder causing instability or clicking.
Frozen Shoulder – Stiffness and restricted motion due to tightening of joint tissues.
Ligament Tear – Injury affecting shoulder stability and strength.
Elbow & Wrist Pain
Pain in the elbow or wrist is commonly related to repetitive strain or nerve compression.
Lateral Epicondylitis (Tennis Elbow)
Outer elbow pain from repetitive wrist movement.
Medial Epicondylitis (Golfer’s Elbow)
Inner elbow pain from gripping or twisting activities.
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Compression of the wrist nerve causing numbness or tingling.
Ligament/Tendon Injury
Sprains or tears affecting mobility and strength.
Foot & Ankle Pain
Foot and ankle pain can interfere with walking and balance. Causes often include tendon strain, inflammation, or nerve compression.
Conditions include:
Achilles Tendon Injury – Pain or irritation at the back of the ankle due to overuse.
Plantar Fasciitis (Heel Pain) – Sharp heel pain caused by inflammation of the arch ligament.
Achilles Bursitis – Swelling near the Achilles tendon causing discomfort.
Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome – Nerve compression causing burning or tingling in the foot.
Hip Pain
Hip pain may result from inflammation, cartilage damage, or joint degeneration, often causing discomfort while walking or sitting.
Hip-related conditions include:
Hip Bursitis – Inflammation of the fluid-filled sac causing outer hip pain.
Labrum Tear – Cartilage damage leading to clicking or stiffness.
Hip Arthritis – Degeneration of joint cartilage causing chronic pain and limited movement.
